This class is perfect for those new to sourdough baking. No prior experience is necessary—just come with a willingness to learn, share, and enjoy the process!

No worries! This class is designed for complete beginners. Jess will walk you through each step in a relaxed, hands-on way, focusing on the basics. You’ll learn by feel and leave with the confidence to bake at home.

The only thing you need to bring is a bowl to take your dough home in. An apron is optional but recommended if you want to get the full baking experience. Everything else, including a scoring tool, will be provided.

You won’t bake your sourdough in class, but you’ll prepare your dough and take it home to bake at the perfect time. You’ll also leave with a freshly baked loaf made by Jess, so you can enjoy the taste of sourdough right away.

At Oak Creek Family Farm, we do not offer refunds for sourdough classes. However, we are happy to provide the option to transfer your registration to another class under the following conditions:
Class Transfers:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you may request a transfer to a future class, subject to availability and restrictions.
All transfer requests must be communicated directly to Jess at least 14 days prior to the class date.
Availability and Restrictions:
Transfers will depend on the availability of future classes and may be subject to additional restrictions based on class capacity and scheduling.
No-Show Policy:
Participants who do not attend their scheduled class or fail to communicate a transfer request within the required timeframe will not be eligible for a transfer.
How to Request a Transfer:
To request a transfer, please email Jess at oakcreekfarm2023@gmail.com. Include your name, the original class date, and the desired new class date.
